Why is transparency
the theme of this report?
In 2017 we launched our Global Transparency Initiative, aimed at strengthening the company’s commitment to earning and maintaining the trust of its most important stakeholders: its customers. In 2018 we already made concrete and significant steps in its framework, including relocation and start of data processing for European users in Zurich, Switzerland, opening of our first Transparency Center also in Zurich, where we welcome our business partners and government stakeholders and ready to provide them with information on our products and their security. We believe that a policy of trust will catch on across the industry as a key basic requirement.
And although the principle of transparency has always been
one of the many focuses of our work, we were able to render it
absolute. Our social report is all about this. Digital security,
gender equality, accessible knowledge, volunteering, paying
attention to children and animal protection — each of the six
priority themes has two stories. Click the inside / outside
buttons and see that we communicate the same ideas that we share
inside the company.
